Dual CrossFit and Yoga Monthly Membership, $225

Dual Monthly Membership, $225
Unlimited access to CrossFit Caldwell and Indigo Yoga
I can argue that the combination of CrossFit and Yoga can set you up for the most success in your life. (Yes, in all areas of your life!) I was never a super athlete but I've been CrossFitting for nearly 5 years and practicing yoga for much longer than that. In the past several years I've found a true balance of strength and flexibility and I've seen unbelievable improvements in myself both mentally and physically. I've learned to control my emotions, my willpower and steady my focus which I've been able to apply to my professional life, and I've learned calming and relaxation techniques which I've been able to apply to my personal life, and I've become stronger than ever before which I use day to day (no sir, I don't need your help carrying this heavy box just because I'm a tiny little woman ;) just kidding... but seriously). Socially, I've found some of my best friends (and my husband!) through these amazing communities of people via CrossFit and yoga. Sure, financially it can be an investment to pay for a yoga membership AND a CrossFit membership... but why should you have to choose one or the other when you get the most benefits when you do BOTH? CrossFit Caldwell and Indigo Yoga are coming together to give you the opportunity to build the best YOU ever!
You can now purchase a dual monthly membership for $225 ($75 savings!) which will grant you unlimited access to all classes on the Indigo Yoga and CrossFit Caldwell schedules.

If you aren't convinced yet, here are a few reasons why I think CrossFitters should do Yoga and why Yogis should do CrossFit!
5 Reasons Why CrossFitters Should Do Yoga:
1. Improve mobility and range of motion.
Doing yoga will drastically improve your form in most CrossFit movements, especially your squat, clean, overhead squat and snatch. All classes will help with this, but try out a Mobility Yoga class to dig in to your needs.
2. Help find focus.
Learning to steady your focus helps tremendously with olympic lifting, double unders, and even mentally helps you get through those 150 wall balls! Try an alignment class to learn to help find that focus and to bring more attention to the alignment of your body which can be applied in your CrossFit movements.
3. Learn to breathe more efficiently.
Do you tend to lose your breath quickly during an AMRAP WOD? Learn breathing techniques that can help to keep a steady paced breath to give you a little more stamina during your workout. Try a Vinyasa class to train yourself to move with your breath.
4. Develop your ability to balance.
Handstand walks and pistols need some work? Practicing balancing yoga poses such as tree, dancer, handstand, and crow will help you to accomplish these movements easier.
5. Restore, recover and relax.
CrossFit is primarily about moving at a quick pace and with high intensity and power (and loud music and cheering!), but in order to cultivate this speed and power, you must also cultivate rest. Being able to relax deeply will let you come back with even more power! On your next rest day, add a yoga class in to your recovery routine.
5 Reasons Yogi's Should Do CrossFit:
1. Build Strength. After a little bit of weight lifting, your chataranga's will be on point! and that long utkatasana will seem like a piece of cake!
2. Learn the full potential of your body. Ever thought you would be able to do a pull up? YOU CAN! CrossFit can teach you safe ways to push your body further than you ever thought you would be able to.
3. Increase stamina and endurance. We've all been there where we just can't wait to drop into child's pose or savasana after a challenging power yoga class. CrossFit can help you get a little bit more comfortable moving at a quick pace for a longer period of time.
4. Strengthen willpower and break through mental blockages. Sometimes a little competitive edge, having a specific goal or being set to a time limit helps to keep you pushing to your limits and break through emotional, physical, and mental barriers. CrossFit will help you to find new limits in a super supportive and safe atmosphere.
5. Let's be real here... who doesn't want a 6 pack? Your muscles are already being stretched and elongated in yoga, now add some CrossFit in there and those washboard abs will be showing in no time!
